The Book titled Contemporary Human Resource Management written by   Prof (Dr).SK Prasad and Prof .S Muralidhar  has  been  released at the Inaugural Function of Bangalore HR Summit  held on 16th December, 2011 at Hotel Le Meridian. Mr. Marc  Ratcliffe,   CEO MRWED, Australia released the book in the presence of  a galaxy of HR Professionals. Mr. Marc complemented the authors of the book and desired that the book would be extremely useful to all HR professionals, researchers and students in India.

Dr. SK Prasad said that the book is a true amalgam of theory and practice, as each one of the authors has more than 25 years of experience in academics and industry respectively. This book written with simple narrations will be useful to all HR professionals, researchers and researchers in HR area Pror. Muralidhar added.

 Padmabhushan Prof. NS Ramaswamy , National Professor in Management and Founder Director, IIM Bangalore in his foreword described the book as a wonderful synthesis of theory and practice pertaining to contemporary situations in HRM.

The book has 10 chapters covering the entire gamut of HRM. Some 15 case studies on HRM are included in the book   that are documented  from the experiences of the authors.
