The
parties hereto agree as follows:
1. -------------------------------------------- (Collaborating
agency/institute ) will promote Post Graduate Diploma in
Business Management and Entrepreneurship, register students,
organize contact sessions and providing counseling and other
support required by the learners.
2. The institute shall nominate a resource person who will
act as coordinator of the program to facilitate continuous
interaction between NAME and the learners.
3. The coordinator shall continuously interact with the
learners and NAME to ensure better support services to the
learners
4. The activities of the coordinator include- ensuring smooth
conduct of contact sessions, contacting the resource persons
designated by the academy, provide necessary institutional
support for organizing sessions, follow the academic schedule
provided by the academy, ensure the smooth conduct of workshops
and seminars in accordance with the academy plans, organize
the visits to industrial visits, in-company short training
as required by the program, conduct exams, ensure free and
fair valuation of answer scripts, collect feed back from
students in prescribed format and send the same to the academy
immediately after each session.
5. The institute shall identify the Programs which will
be provided with the diploma program and collect the prescribed
fee along with the duly filled in application forms from
the students. The fee for the program shall be remitted
in one installment- before the commencement of the program.
The fee will be fixed by the academy which includes providing
counseling support, reading material soft forms (CD), complementary
student membership of NAME for a period of one year
6. The academy will provide support in setting up Entrepreneurship
Development Cell and also Entrepreneurship Incubation Center
in selected institutions under separate agreement of support.
7. To facilitate the Institute to promote the program and
create necessary awareness amongst potential target groups,
NAME will supply necessary publicity through its website
and allied e-sources.
8. The institute will also take up promotional work like
(i) Organizing awareness programs, (ii) publishing articles,
releasing press notes in local magazines/new papers (iii)
Providing information about the program to entrepreneurs,
youth organizations, management associations etc.
COLLABORATION:
10. The institute interested in collaboration would be required
to deposit Rs.20000/- to NAME by demand draft in favor of
National Academy of Management and Entrepreneurship , Bangalore
towards processing fee and causing inspection.
11. The original copy of the jointly signed MOU shall be
retained by NAME, while a photocopy of the same shall be
sent to the institute. This can be treated as a Document
of Authority for promoting the program and pursuing activities
related to it.
12. Once the formalities are completed, the academy will
provide the following support to the institute: (i) one
set of printed study material (ii) details of supporting
agencies of the program (iii) program schedule (iv) training
the faculty member who has been identified as coordinator
of the Program and (iv) internet accessibility details
13. The Institute may identify suitable faculty to provide
counseling support to the students and send their resumes
for approval of the academy
14. The contact sessions will be restricted to week ends
and planned as per the mutual convenience of the institute
and academy. The program requires about 60 contact hours
. The students will be spending another 20 hours in seminars/workshops
and they are required to submit a business plan/ entrepreneurship
exposure learning program which may include a 6 week internship
with a small and medium enterprise followed a project work/report
and viva-voce.
15. Evaluation: The institute will be responsible for evaluating
assignments submitted by the learners attached to them.
Evaluated assignments submitted along with remarks and comments
should be returned to the learners in stipulated time.
16. NAME will conduct a Knowledge Internalization Test(
KIT) which is objective in nature aims at ensuring the learners
have developed and understanding of the required theoretical
and practical aspects of entrepreneurship. This test may
be conducted on an on-line mode or in the conventional mode
depending upon the facilities available at the institute.
17. The institute and academy will provide post- program
follow-up support to the learners for one year to facilitate
them in launching their enterprises
18. The business ideas and proposals will be kept in the
virtual incubator created by the academy and institute with
an assurance that the idea/plan will be kept confidential
and with limited accessibility to the project mentor, NAME
custodian and the student. The academy will update the project
by incorporating new information and developments in the
project area covering areas like technology developments,
changes in market trends, extended technical, market and
economic viability at a later point of time if the candidate
19. Upon satisfactory completion of the diploma the learner
will receive the diploma under the seal of NAME.
20. LOGISTICS: The institute will be required to buy the
prospectus-cum- application forms from NAME in multiples
of sixty at Rs.100/- each. Filled in application forms shall
be collected by the collaborating agency along with the
fees in the form of DD in favor of National Academy of Management
and Entrepreneurship, Bangalore. On receipt of the application
forms and course fee, NAME will fix the learning schedule
in consultation with the program coordinator of the institute
and organize a orientation session for the program coordinator
and program counselors on a day convenient to the institute.
21. FEE: The fee payable by the learners for the program
is Rs. 15000 payable in the form of a DD drawn in favor
of NAME at the time of registration along with duly filled
application form.
22. NAME will refund Rs. 3000 per learner to the institute
to meet the program administration costs:
(i) Ensuring completion of the course by the learners,(ii)
Providing counseling services and evaluating the assignments
,(iii) Organizing the contact sessions, (iv) Evaluation
of project reports,(v) Conducting exams (KITS) and (vi)
Meeting contingencies like postage and stationary
(ii) The institute is to produce bills under different heads
within 15 days after the completion of the program certified
by internal auditors of the institute or a chartered accountant
for the release of the amount.
(iii) In addition NAME will provide Rs.150 for every candidate
registered towards program coordinator’s honorarium
during the program execution period. The amount also shall
have to be claimed through a separate bill after completion
of the program.
(iv) Faculty remuneration : The Partner Institute to pay
Rs. 500 per contact hour to the faculty members towards
faculty fee. For the workshop the resource persons will
be paid Rs. 750 per session and Rs.250 towards transport.
These rates are applicable for all NAME diploma programs.
24. NAME would expect the institute to keep updated about
the start-up rate and the performance of learners completing
the program
25. The institutes with good performance will be given due
recognition and publicity by NAME through its Website and
published literature etc. and efforts would be made to involve
them in other activities of the academy.
26. NAME reserves to revise the above mentioned norms and
conditions without any prior notice, if required.
27. The above mentioned terms and conditions are agreed
upon by-----------------

and NAME. This arrangement is valid for two years with effect
from the date of signing the MOU; continuation of which
will depend upon subsequent reviews and mutual consent.
28. All legal disputes are to be settled within the jurisdiction
of Bangalore Courts
