Program Structure:

Retailing industry is growing at a rapid rate and is emerging as one of the most enterprising businesses in India. The industry requires trained professionals at all levels. NAME has designed a customized diploma program after deliberations with all the concerned stakeholders namely, retailing companies, educationalists and students. The program is being offered as a value addition and job oriented program for management students. The program will be available under duel degree option in which the students will also have an option to receive MBA degree along with the Diploma

Elective Courses :

Elective Courses will be offered in the second year of the program. Students are required to select SIX elective courses.

The duration of the program is 32 weeks( under parallel learning mode) spread over four semesters of MBA Program with three topical workshops


Project Work:

Duration : Eight- Ten weeks during the semester gap between first and second years. The students will take up a project work and visit two major retail organisations and make a comprehensive study of their retail business activities based on Mc Kinsey’s 7-S Model and submit a report at the time of Viva-Voce. The students of MBA +PGD will be allowed to carry forward the grades/ credits/marks to the Diploma programs and will take exams for the courses not covered in MBA.

HOW TO APPLY:

Applications Forms can be obtained from the ABMTR / NAME by remitting Rs.300/- in the form of DD or Cash. Applications can also be downloaded from the websites of ABMTR / NAME and send it along with a DD payable to National Academy of Management and Entrepreneurship (NAME), Bangalore.
