WINTER SCHOOL PROGRAM(Saturdays)

NAME in association with ABMTR has designed an innovative series of student development programs under the Winter School Banner. This Program of training cum workshop series is specially designed for MBA students. This is a modest attempt by National Academy of Management and Entrepreneurship (NAME) and Academy of Business Management, Tourism & Research (ABMTR) and is the first of its kind to provide students of MBA with latest Knowledge, Information, Skills and Strengths (KISS) to compete in job market with premier B-School graduates.

Under this program six Training cum Workshop sessions have been planned covering Strategic Management and Global Management perspectives in Marketing, HR and Finance areas. The program is organized in workshop-cum-training mode and conducted by seasoned top level managers and academicians teaching at institutes of international repute like IIMs. The topics and contents of these workshops are designed after a thorough scan of courses offered in globally renowned B-Schools like Harvard, Wharton, MIT and IIMs in the country.

The main objective of these workshops is to provide the students with latest knowledge, skills and experiences of applying certain strategies and concepts in real-life business situations. The programs being highly interactive in nature, makes participants to learn through several interactive training techniques like role plays, case discussions, management games, etc.

ADVANCED DIPLOMA PROGRAM IN:

MARKETING MANAGEMENT
 FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
 HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Eligibility:

Pass in Graduation in any discipline and a student of MBA

Program Structure:

The program comprises three training cum workshop sessions in strategic management and three workshops in with a global perspective. These workshops will be completed in three weeks

Online Test:

The students after submitting the Project will take-up an online test – Knowledge Internalization Test( KIT). The Test comprises of six sections with 30 questions in each section.

The six sections are :

    i.  Strategic Marketing Management
    ii. Strategic HRM and
    iii.Strategic Financial Management
    iv.Global Marketing
    v. Global HRM and
    vi.Global Financial Management

Case Study:

The students are further required to submit one case study in each course analyzed as per the model provided in the reading material.

Mini-Project: (Under Project of Independent Study)

The students will be taking up a mini-project in selected functional area (Marketing , HRM and Finance options in the current spell).

The students will be awarded diploma in the area they choose for mini- project. The project will have a weight-age of three credits and Viva-voce with three credits.

Project Report:

The credits are based on the content of the course, assignments, case studies, projects and the related academic effort put in by the participant in fulfilling the requirements to qualify for the diploma
